The global feed mycotoxin detoxifiers market was estimated at a value of USD 1967.8 million in 2016. It is projected to reach USD 2341.8, at a CAGR of 3.5% during the forecast period from 2017 t0 2022.
Fungi growth in the grains reduces their nutritional value and increase the risk of mycotoxins. Mycotoxins in animal feed should be controled and for that needed a Mycotoxin Control Program which should be based on the below steps: 1. Identify the problem in the region/with the customer (by toxin and by feedstuff). 2. Find a partner lab/supplier of test kits, 3. Establish ongoing mycotoxin monitoring program, 4. Communicate the problem. 5. Offer Prevention- it is better than cure, 6. Offer suitable product for the specific problem
Mycotoxins are described as "cold-blooded murderers“ and are most commonly found in Cereals, coffee, cocoa, nuts and in the milk.
Mycotoxins, the hidden dangers
Storage fungi (such as species of the genus Penicillium and Aspergillus), also find protection in the spaces underneath the husk, which germinate in warm and moist conditions. The result of this development is an extreme rise in temperature.

The ATP Mycotoxins Control Program
Results of Adsorption tests of KleenTox Studies contacted by Aokin GmbH, Berlin, Germany in May 2017.
Adsorption: U17/a-955r mechanically/thermally activated micronized mineral clay. Studies conducted by Aokin GmbH, Berlin, Germany in May 2017 0,2% of adsorbant, was tested at pH 3.0 and pH 6.5 at 37°C using kinetic fluorescence polarization method, showing that is able to adsorb high percentage of AFB1, OTA, ZON and FUM.
Bio-transformation of Toxins by specific enzymes:
Those enzymes have been selected from the pioneers in mycotoxin deactivation.
The enzymes work specifically on Trichothecenes, Ochratoxin, Zearalenone and Fumonisin. For the complete biotransformation of the mycotoxins present in the feed, are used specific enzymes to transform them in non-toxic eco-friendly metabolites.
FUM/178-Utrizyme: Special enzyme effectively working for the biotransformation of fumonisin in non-toxic metabolites.
DON/315-Utrizyme: Special enzyme for the bio-transformaton of deoxynivalenol and T-2 toxin in metabolites unable to damage the organism.
OTA/218-Utrizyme: Special enzyme for the biodegradation of ochratoxin.
Hepatoprotection: KleenTox® contains selected plant extracts that are able to eliminate toxin effects caused by mycotoxines and reduce the risk of inflamation. These extracts protect against liver damage, improves appetite and digestion. Improved liver health leads to better F.C.R., higher growth rate and higher egg production.
